FIT & STYLING / START WITH SHAPE
Find your
own outline.
A silhouette is a useful starting point. The actual garment details make the final decision.

Compare a garment, not an ideal
Lay a similar garment you enjoy wearing flat without stretching it. Note shoulder width, bust, waist, sleeve and overall length where relevant. Tell us how you measured so a comparison can be made with the actual item. No universal size chart or guaranteed fit is inferred from the listed UK sizes.
Let the dress shape lead
A wrap-inspired waist, straight column, button-front shirt dress, pleated skirt and tiered mini arrange volume differently. Look at where the waist sits and how the hem relates to your intended occasion. Confirm actual length, closure and construction before relying on the image.
Notice the blouse details
A bow-neck focuses attention near the face. A peplum changes the lower outline; a collarless opening keeps it simple. Balloon sleeves need space in a jacket, while pintuck panels add front detail. These are styling suggestions, not promises about how a garment will fit every person.
Ask about material and care
A photograph cannot establish fibre composition, lining, stretch, opacity or washing directions. Ask for those details for the actual garment. Follow the confirmed care label and avoid assuming a particular fabric or certification from the illustration.
Choose a requested size
UK 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 are request choices, not stock assurances. Choose the size you want reviewed, add quantity and put any measurement questions in checkout notes. Availability and suitability remain subject to confirmation.
Build an outfit thoughtfully
Try the relationship between a neckline, sleeve and hem before adding more layers. Consider what you already own rather than buying around an imagined complete outfit. Shoes, trousers and styling accessories in photographs are not included unless expressly confirmed.
Keep the request conversation useful
Include the product name, SKU, requested size and the details that matter to you. Checkout records your request and gives a reference; no card is charged and no automatic merchant email is sent. Contact us with that reference to confirm the next step.
